  1. Well done on managing to capture that butterfly picture - I never seem to have much luck when I try to take photos of them.

  2. Karen - first off, I want to apologize for not stopping by in a while - it has been so crazy both here at home and at work this past week. I am so glad to hear that Nick is improving. These are beautiful pictures and is so nice to see that spring is finally here :) I have quickly looked through the cards you made this past week, but am going to sit down this weekend and look at them more closely because they are beautiful. Do have a question - what is hodge podge share? I wish I was close by so I could do the two peas in a pod homework - it sounds like you guys have so much fun.

Also, I must tell you something - I've been holding this off because it's so embarrassing. I made the rock cakes you gave me the recipe for, but the ones I made turned out like actual rocks - they were so hard (my husband laughed so hard - he said it reminded him of when we first got married and I tried to make biscuits - you could put a hole in our wall if you threw them at it - it was so funny we laughed for about 10 minutes and even to this day, I still don't know how to make good biscuits and use Pillsbury even chance I can). I went back and checked my ingredients and saw that I used all-purpose flour instead of self-rising and am hoping that is the purpose for them turning out this way - we are going to the store tomorrow to pick up the right type of flour and plan on trying them again Sunday, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I hope you have a great Friday and I will talk to you this weekend. Please pass on hellos to everyone and say that I will visit them as well. Off to finish up supper and help Patrick with his spelling test.
