scrapbook challenge 15

(there are some very fine leaves on my page which if you double click the picture you should be able to see them a bit clearer. As a bit of a quirk I printed a couple of the pictures the wrong way round....
This week's page is Shearwater just outside of Warminster. It is owned by Longleat. The lake is used for fishing and small boats and there are acres of forest you can walk in.

It is very close to a favourite garden centre of ours that we sometimes call in to and have coffee when we are doing a 50 mile round trip on our motorbikes. We had seen the sign but not yet visited the lake so we took the dog and had a long walk and then went to the garden centre for coffee. The garden centre welcome dogs and they have a coffee and cake shop with outside under cover seating as well as just outside, so on nice days or not so nice you can still have a coffee with the dog. The garden centre has a couple of ponds too and you can feed the ducks and fish there.

  1. Really lovely LO Karen - it looks a wonderful place for a walk. Jillx

  2. Love the quirky feature - beautiful photos and the walk sounds wonderful.
