Happy Jubilee

I hope you are all enjoying your Jubilee weekend - an occasion I believe we should be celebrating. The Queen and Royal Family do an amazing job and I have enjoyed the documentaries that have been on recently. I am very proud of the Queen and all that she stands for as well as the other family members.

We have been away on our jollies to Monmouthshire. We have spent a lovely week exploring the Brecon Beacons, Talybont reservoir is stunning and we visited twice. The weather was fabulous as was the camp site, if you are into camping or have a caravan or indeed a camper van like us then you have to go to Three Castles - it's adults only and very small with 12 pitches, new facilities, gorgeous location and one of the best sites we have been on.

We visited all the three castles very close to our campsite. Skenfrith has a gorgeous church as well as a beautiful castle and was about a mile from the camp site. Grosmount is very similar and White Castle is slightly less ruined.

The Brecon Beacons are very scenic, we saw some great waterfalls and some wonderful reservoir lakes.

I can see all your news by your blogging and was particularly excited to see that lovely Amy from BOM, is having twins - how exciting is that...

I hope everyone is well and enjoy your extended weekend.
