Luna's ready for bed.

As you know my lovely friend Linda sent me Luna's pyjama kit for my birthday and I was itching to get started. Luna, Alfie and her latest friend (I am sure they are friends) Reynaud the Fox can be found at Cool Crafting.  There are so many fun kits on the website to choose from but I particularly like Luna and Alfie.
It didn't take too long to complete, the instructions were nice and clear and although it is working in minature the principals are the same as normal sewing.  There was everything you could possibly need in the kit (as usual) and they are a real joy to make whether you are a youngster or a bit more of an oldie like me (ok not that old I know and why shouldn't I have a Luna Lapin).  The best bit is you get to make Luna yourself and then her wardrobe.  The fabrics are just beautiful and plenty in order for you to make your clothes.

I cut all the pieces out, then put the trim around the sleeves before attaching the sleeves to the back, then to the front of the top. Lastly the trim went around the front and neck and two press studs were added.

The trousers were fairly easy, a bit fiddly with the tiny elastic waistband but nothing too taxing.

Thanks so much Linda I really enjoyed doing this lovely gift.

  1. I'm glad you enjoyed making them - Luna looks very cosy in her pajamas.
